-- West Coast Silver (ASX:WCE) said it began a diamond drilling program of up to 1,500 meters at its Elizabeth Hill silver project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The company said the program represents the first thorough test of deeper silver mineralization along the Munni Munni Fault, the main feature controlling high-grade silver distribution at the project, targeting areas directly below and next to the underground mine where 2025 drilling showed silver extends to the surface.
All holes are planned to reach the Munni Munni Fault within 200 meters of the surface, with drilling expected to take about four to six weeks and results expected to start coming in during the second quarter, the filing added.
