-- Spain's annual inflation accelerated to 3.4% in March, from 2.3% a month ago, according to final data from the National Statistics Institute published Tuesday.
The final data is above the flash estimate of 3.3%.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices were up 1.2%, against the preliminary reading of a 1% growth and the earlier 0.4% gain.
The Spanish annual harmonized inflation rate was 3.4%, higher than the flash estimate of 3.3% and the previous 2.5%. Month over month, harmonized consumer prices grew 1.7%, above the initial 1.5% increase and the 0.4% uptick earlier.
Meanwhile, the country's annual core inflation rate rose to 2.9%, compared with the expected and previous 2.7%.
