-- Toho's (TYO:8142) sales revenue in March increased 11% year on year to 24.1 billion yen, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The distributor business saw sales jump 15% as domestic foodservice demand held up and inbound demand supported volumes, while the contribution from newly consolidated Sankyo Shokucho also boosted results.
The cash-and-carry business sales edged up 1.8% amid a sluggish demand.
Sales in the food solutions business declined 6% year on year due to a drop in commercial kitchen equipment sales.
The company said it had 95 C&C stores at the end of March, after two new openings and two closures.
