IonQ Awarded Contract for DARPA's Heterogeneous Architectures for Quantum Program

-- IonQ (IONQ) said Tuesday that it has been awarded a contract in the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's Heterogeneous Architectures for Quantum program.

The quantum technology company said its contract will focus on quantum memories that will support the program's speed and fidelity targets. IonQ said its quantum memories serve as core chips for its quantum interconnect systems.

Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
