-- The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in South Korea in March edged down to 2.7% from 2.9% in February, data from Statistics Korea indicated Wednesday.
On an annual basis, the unemployment rate fell to 3.0% from 3.4%.
The number of unemployed people fell by 35,000 to 884,000 in March from 918,000 a year earlier.
The number of employed people increased by 206,000 to hit 28.8 million last month from 28.6 million in the year-ago period.
