-- Torr Metals (TMET.V) on Wednesday said it is planning a phase-two drilling program at its Kolos copper and gold project in British Columbia, after 2025 drilling intersected 68 intervals of copper mineralization at the property.
The company said the second phase will focus on the Bertha North target, to test a "moderate to high-resistivity geophysical anomaly".
The company said field crews have mobilized to site and are currently conducting reconnaissance sampling, drone magnetics, and induced polarization (IP) surveys to refine targets ahead of drilling planned for second quarter of 2026.
"Phase II is designed to directly drill test this target, representing a meaningful step forward from defining the system to targeting its underlying source," said chief executive Malcolm Dorsey. "At the same time, current geophysical work is focused on identifying whether similar source signatures exist to the northeast of our Phase I drilling and at Kova, as we continue to expand and refine high-priority targets."
Shares of the company were last seen up $0.005 to $0.105 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
