-- Union Pacific (UNP) and Rocky Mountain Steel Mills said Wednesday they have struck a new, seven-year contract for the domestic production of steel rails.
The deal ends any pending legal disputes between the companies, according to the release. Rocky Mountain Steel, located in Pueblo, Colorado, is the only remaining rail production facility in the US.
Financial details were not disclosed.
