-- Barton Gold Holdings (ASX:BGD) said it has completed pit optimization drilling at its Challenger Gold Project in South Australia, targeting an initial stage 1 definitive feasibility study (DFS) and ore reserves conversion by the second half of the year, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The company said the DFS objective is to model a viable, simplified baseline stage 1 operation to underwrite a restart of the Challenger Gold Mine and maximize development options across the Challenger, Tarcoola, Wudinna, and Tolmer projects.
The company added that the first assays from recently completed resource upgrade reverse circulation drilling are expected imminently.
