-- Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) said results from its ongoing diamond drilling program at the Boundiali gold project in the Ivory Coast extended gold mineralization at the BST1 deposit by 220 meters below the current mineral resource estimate, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts at the deposit of 29 meters at a grade of 1 gram per tonne of gold from 444 meters, as well as eight meters at 3.38 g/t grade of gold from 279 meters. It also hit an intercept at the BDT3 deposit of seven meters at 1.23 g/t grade of gold from 352 meters.
Its shares climbed 2% in recent trading on Thursday.
