-- Peel Mining (ASX:PEX) said assays from recent reverse circulation drilling completed at the Link Zone South target at the Southern Nights Complex in New South Wales returned multiple broad, high-grade silver-zinc-lead intercepts, confirming the continuity of mineralization, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The company encountered intercepts of 24 meters at 138 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of silver, 5.7% grade of zinc, 3.3% grade of lead, 0.6 g/t grade of gold, and 0.2% grade of copper from 141 meters, as well as 9 meters at 202 g/t grade of silver, 5.4% grade of zinc, 3.1% grade of lead, 0.1 g/t grade of gold, and 0.1% grade of copper from 129 meters.
A recently completed deep diamond drill‑hole at the main Link Zone intersected visually significant sulfide mineralization beyond the current mineral resource envelope.
Peel Mining's shares rose 3% in recent Thursday trade.
