China Southern Power Grid Energy Storage's Q1 Profit Jumps 21%, Revenue Climbs 19%

-- China Southern Power Grid Energy Storage's (SHA:600995) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first quarter jumped 21% to 453.8 million yuan from a year-ago profit of almost 374 million yuan, according to preliminary figures published on a Thursday filing on the Shanghai bourse.

The Chinese state-owned power company's earnings per share rose 17% year on year to 0.14 yuan from 0.12 yuan.

Total operating revenue climbed 19% to 1.85 billion yuan from 1.56 billion yuan in the previous year.

ISOTeam (SGX:5WF) secured SG$30 million worth of contracts, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Shares of the facilities maintenance company were up nearly 4% in Tuesday trading.The contracts include a SG$8.3 million coating and painting projects contract, addition and alteration projects worth SG$6.8 million, repair and redecoration contracts worth SG$5.1 million, electrical work projects worth SG$4.8 million and landscaping projects worth SG$1.4 million.Following the award, the company's current order book stands at around SG$186.5 million.
