The assessment, which is the final requirement for an exploration license, was submitted to the Italian Ministry for Environment and Energy Security, according to a Thursday release. The approval process is expected to take six months.
Meanwhile, the energy production and development company secured an extension to submit the environmental impact assessment for the Val Vedello deposit in Sondrio, Italy, until July 15.
