-- Mayfair Gold (MFG.V), whose shares fell 2.7% on Wednesday, has completed its private placement of shares with the company's chief financial officer, Kevin Annett, raising $254,000.
The company said overnight Wednesday that Annett acquired 58,000 common shares at $4.38 apiece. Proceeds will be used to advance the Fenn-Gib gold project in Ontario.
Mayfair Gold shares closed down $0.12, to $4.38, on Thursday, on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
