-- Anson Resources (ASX:ASN), through its Blackstone Minerals unit, received an average effective porosity value of 8.8% for the Missississippian Unit historical diamond core at a measured interval 9,646 to 9,656 feet at the Floy Unit 1 well from the Green River lithium project in Utah, which is 46% higher than the porosity value of 6% that has been used in the existing resource estimate, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The core from the well was obtained from a geological library resource center and was tested in the certified laboratory to accurately determine porosity, specific yield, and permeability, per the filing. Previous porosity was determined by modeling.
Anson Resources' shares fell 3% in recent trading on Monday.
