-- Enegex (ASX:ENX) said it identified a new gold prospective zone, the AW1 prospect, at the Tougbe-Gogo permit group in Ivory Coast, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Of the 36 pit samples collected, 13 were over 0.1 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold, with an average value of 1.3 g/t grade of gold, per the filing. The best values were 7.8 g/t grade of gold, 3 g/t grade of gold, and 1.8 g/t grade of gold.
Air core drilling at the site returned intercepts of 24 meters at 3.7 g/t grade of gold from the surface, as well as 10 meters at about 5 g/t grade of gold from 20 meters to the end of hole.
A planned program of 3,000 meters of reverse circulation drilling on the Gogo permit will start in May to test three targets on the Bonoubana trend.
