-- Helix Exploration (HEX.L) was selected as a core partner by US nonprofit organization Renaissance Philanthropy's Chimaera Fund for its Air Force Geologic Hydrogen Energy Resilience Initiative.
Under the collaboration, the helium exploration and development company will receive funding from Chimaera and will contribute subsurface measurements, drilling cost data, mineralogical and geochemical analysis, as well as infrastructure data from its Rudyard helium project in northern Montana, US, according to a Monday filing.
The data will support a techno-economic assessment of geologic hydrogen potential near the Malmstrom Air Force Base, as well as its capacity to boost energy resilience at critical US Air Force installations.
