Ardiden Confirms High-Grade Gold Mineralization at Canada Deposit; Shares Up 9%

-- Ardiden (ASX:ADV) confirmed the presence of high-grade gold mineralization from ongoing diamond drilling at the Astoria deposit within the Rouyn project in Canada, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Assay results from eight diamond drill holes extended previously reported high-grade gold intersections and indicated the presence of both high-grade plunging gold shoots and extensive mineralized envelopes, the filing said.

Drilling is ongoing, with more assay results expected in the near term, per the filing.

Shares rose 9% in midday trade on Tuesday.
