-- Solstad Offshore (SOFF.OL, SOMA.OL) said Monday it extended its existing contract with Petrobras for the CSV Normand Fortress vessel by an additional two years.
The extension, valued at $56 million, will commence in early July. It covers accommodation services to support production activities on the Brazilian continental shelf.
The vessel is owned by the Norwegian shipping company's subsidiary Solstad Maritime, and will continue to operate under a bareboat arrangement, with Solstad Offshore acting as the contract holder with Petrobras.
