-- Ganfeng Lithium Group (HKG:1772) said it expects 1.6 billion yuan to 2.1 billion yuan in attributable profit for the first quarter of 2026, swinging from a loss of 355.8 million yuan in the prior-year quarter, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Thursday.
Shares of the lithium battery maker fell over 1% in morning trade Friday.
Basic earnings per share are expected to be 0.77 yuan to 1.01 yuan, compared with a loss of 0.18 yuan per share in the prior year period.
The firm attributed the turnaround to a rise in demand for its products and higher selling prices for lithium salt products.
