-- EQT (EQT) and Glencore (GLEN) committed to acquiring an extra 1 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas annually from Commonwealth LNG through 20-year agreements, Reuters reported Friday, citing a regulatory document.
Commonwealth LNG previously announced it secured sufficient capacity sales from its 9.5-million-ton project to start funding procedures ahead of an expected final investment decision, the news outlet reported.
The Department of Energy submission indicates the latest Glencore transaction occurred in late March, adding to a previous 2025 commitment for 2 million tons per year, the report said.
EQT and Glencore did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
