-- China is expanding pilot opening-up programs in value-added telecommunications, biotechnology and wholly foreign-owned hospitals to support the high-quality development of the services industry, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
Beijing will also refine the negative list for cross-border services trade and establish national demonstration zones for services innovation.
On services consumption, authorities will nurture new business models and upgrade lifestyle services like housekeeping, lodging and dining. Wholesale and retail will also get a boost, with better commodity market layouts and stronger agricultural wholesale hubs.
